"OUR COMMUNITY BRIDGE"
About Us
“Our Community Bridge'' advocates for change; fights poverty and homelessness; eradicates hunger, poor education, and unemployment; preserves businesses, children, communities, families, elderly, low-income and underrepresented people, different minority groups, and veterans suffering from the lack of necessary life skill tools and resources to meet their own basic needs. Formed exclusively for charitable services, educational assistance, providing and training & developing purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We specialize in stabilizing the community by providing direct care packages to homeless renters. We understand that this transition may take time, and monitoring our client is essential to ensure the client reaches a healthy living environment.
OCB's "Homeless to Home Initiative" provides a complete "Wrap-Around Service" by offering direct assistance that will
help break barriers, allowing renters to pursue the dream of transiting into a homeowner.

“Our Community Bridge,” has broadened the scope of this initiative to link resources throughout the City of Detroit to aid in "Our Community Bridge Household and Furniture Pantry." OCB has provided and delivered washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, furniture and other household items to young adults at our own cost; however, we see the need growing larger and larger as inflation and interest rates continue to rise. OCB will serve as a one-stop Household and Furniture Pantry assisting residents who cannot afford furniture and other essential items for living. This expansion enables us to support our local communities through the generous contributions of community donors.
At Our Community Bridge, our dedication lies in channeling our knowledge and resources towards advancing our mission. Our Community Bridge has been aiding our community through diverse means, gauging our impact not by financial figures but by the breadth and impact of our initiatives. Together, the possibilities for what we can accomplish are boundless!
